#  Public Notice: Road Closure at Old Bell Bay Road, George Town 

A level crossing near George Town will be closed this weekend as part of the State and Federal Government"s jointly funded $119.6 million upgrade of Tasmania"s freight rail network.

  Works are scheduled at Old Bell Bay Road, George Town, as part of the level crossing improvements.

Diversions will be in place to ensure the safety of all motorists, pedestrians and TasRail"s employees and contractors.

The following closure is planned at the level crossing:

**Old Bell Bay Road:**

- Saturday 21 April: 6am ' 11.59pm
- Sunday 122 April: 00.01am ' 11.59pm
- Monday 23 April: 00.01am ' 4pm

Diversion: All traffic will be diverted via East Tamar Highway and Temco Road during these times.

TasRail is committed to protecting the safety of its employees, contractors and the public, and asks the community to please obey all traffic management signage and directions given on site.
