# Permits

 

 

The TasRail Property Team manages the permit process for any development or construction work occurring on, or within three metres of, TasRail’s rail assets.

 

 

 

 

 

  The TasRail Property Team manages the permit process for any development or construction work occurring on, or within three metres of, TasRail’s rail assets.

Please note that a fee applies to the Permit Application process. The total cost will depend on the type of access or work proposed, as well as any additional requirements—such as the need for a Track Protection Officer. Some of these costs may only be determined after the application has been reviewed and a tentative work date discussed.
